Scientists hunt for the sudden death gene
NCT ID NCT00604149
Summary
This study aimed to understand if certain genes make people more likely to experience sudden cardiac arrest. Researchers analyzed DNA from over 2,000 people who had an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. The goal was to find genetic markers that could help doctors identify and protect individuals at the highest risk before a tragic event occurs.
