NCT ID NCT04941027
First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study created a large genetic database from over 1,000 adults with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) to find DNA differences that explain why skin tumors vary so much between patients. Researchers collected blood or saliva samples and medical information to look for genetic variants linked to tumor development. The goal is to better understand NF1 and eventually personalize care.
