Family genetics study aims to unlock mysteries of incurable blood cancer

Summary
This study collected blood samples from nearly 1,900 people in families where at least two members had a blood disorder called dysglobulinemia, which includes multiple myeloma and related conditions. The goal was to identify genetic differences that might increase the risk of developing these diseases. No treatments or interventions were tested; instead, researchers built a bank of cells and genetic data for future analysis.
