Gene hunt launched for rare, deadly vascular duo

NCT ID NCT07314814

Summary

This study aims to find the genetic clues that explain why some people with a rare liver blood vessel defect develop a dangerous lung pressure condition. Researchers will analyze DNA from patients with both conditions and their close family members. The long-term goal is to use this genetic information to identify and monitor others at risk before they get sick.
