Summary
This study aims to identify the specific genes that cause inherited eye diseases like cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal degeneration. Researchers will examine families with a history of these conditions, performing detailed eye exams and collecting blood or saliva samples for genetic analysis. The goal is to better understand these diseases to improve future diagnosis and potentially guide future treatments, but this study itself does not provide a treatment.
