Summary
This study aims to find the genetic causes of nonimmune hydrops fetalis, a serious condition where fluid builds up abnormally in a fetus or newborn. Researchers will use whole exome and whole genome sequencing on samples from 55 families when standard tests are negative. The goal is to identify known and new genetic disorders, helping parents understand the cause and risks for future pregnancies.
