Summary
This study aims to understand the genetic causes of severe childhood obesity and related conditions like Bardet-Biedl Syndrome. Researchers will analyze genetic information from 1,000 children and adults in Germany who developed severe obesity early in life. The goal is to identify specific genetic patterns that could help doctors recognize these conditions sooner.
