Summary
This study aims to understand why some children's epilepsy does not respond to medication. Researchers will analyze genetic material from brain tissue and blood samples of 450 children with drug-resistant focal epilepsy. The goal is to identify specific genetic changes in the brain that might cause seizures and could inform future treatments.
