Summary
This study aimed to screen cancer patients for genetic markers that affect how they respond to drugs. The goal was to use this information to quickly determine if a patient could join a specific clinical trial and to choose the right drug dose. Researchers collected blood or cheek swab samples from adults being considered for or treated in National Cancer Institute studies. The study was terminated early after enrolling only 8 participants.
