Your genes may hold the key to the right diet for metabolic health
NCT ID NCT05495074
Summary
This study aimed to see if a score based on a person's genetics could predict how well they respond to a specific low-fat diet. Researchers enrolled 115 adults with metabolic syndrome in Mexico. Participants followed the recommended diet for two months while researchers tracked changes in health markers to see if their genetic score matched their level of improvement.
