Summary

This study tested how well people understand genetic risk when shown different visual aids. Over 1,000 participants viewed either a single side-by-side chart or a step-by-step narrative with pictures. They then estimated their risk and answered questions about how they felt and whether they would share the information with family. The goal was to find which visual aid helps people most accurately grasp their genetic risk.
