First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study is looking for genetic clues that might help predict whether a brain aneurysm will rupture. Researchers will collect blood samples and medical information from 252 people with brain aneurysms (some ruptured, some not) and healthy volunteers. The goal is to create a tool that combines genetic and clinical data to estimate an individual's risk of aneurysm rupture. This is an observational study, meaning it does not change or test any treatments.
