Could your genes make you prone to joint replacement infections?
NCT ID NCT05159739
Summary
This study aims to find out if certain genes make some people more likely to get serious infections after hip or knee replacement surgery. Researchers are enrolling 150 participants from families where these infections have occurred. By comparing genetic samples, they hope to identify risk factors that could lead to better, personalized prevention plans for future patients.
