NIH hunts genetic clues to mysterious immune diseases

NCT ID NCT00246857

Summary

This study aims to discover the genetic and biochemical causes of inherited immune disorders that affect how the body balances white blood cells. Researchers will screen up to 5,000 patients and their family members over 20 years by reviewing medical records and analyzing blood and tissue samples. The goal is to identify the underlying genetic traits that cause these conditions to help with future research and diagnosis.
