Your genes may decide if Omega-3s help your heart
NCT ID NCT01343342
Summary
This study aims to understand if a person's genes influence how omega-3 fatty acid supplements affect heart disease risk factors like cholesterol and blood pressure. Researchers are observing 200 healthy adults with higher body weight to see if genetic differences change their response to the supplements. The goal is to gather knowledge, not to treat or cure any disease.
