Summary
This study tested if a new generic version of a heart rhythm drug (dronedarone) works the same way in the body as the original brand-name drug (MULTAQ®). It involved 51 healthy male volunteers who took single doses of each drug. Researchers measured the drug levels in the volunteers' blood to see if the generic version was absorbed and processed similarly.
