New generic cancer drug tested against original
NCT ID NCT07492173
Summary
This study tested if a new, potentially cheaper generic version of the cancer drug Lonsurf works the same way in the body as the original brand-name drug. It involved 76 Chinese adults with solid tumors, checking how the drug was absorbed when taken with or without food. The goal was to see if the two versions are bioequivalent, meaning they deliver the same amount of medicine into the bloodstream.
