Gene therapy injection aims to restore sight in rare blindness
NCT ID NCT07303296
Summary
This study is testing an experimental gene therapy called GS010 for people with a rare, inherited form of vision loss called ND4 Leber Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON). Researchers are injecting the therapy into both eyes of participants to see if it can improve vision and how well the eye's energy cells work. They are comparing two different doses to find the best one.
