Scientists test 'Drug-Resistant' immune cells to fight deadly brain tumor

NCT ID NCT04165941

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of a new cell therapy for adults with a newly diagnosed, aggressive brain cancer called glioblastoma. Researchers are modifying a patient's own immune cells to resist chemotherapy, then injecting them directly into the brain alongside standard treatment. The main goal is to see if this combined approach is safe and to find the best dose, while also checking if it helps control the cancer.
