Could a simple genetic test help find the right depression pill faster?
NCT ID NCT07480486
Summary
This study aims to see if using a genetic test to guide antidepressant choice works better than standard care for adults with major depression in Morocco. About 570 participants will be randomly assigned to have their treatment chosen either with the help of their genetic test results or by their doctor's usual methods. Researchers will follow participants for 12 weeks to see which group has better recovery from depression symptoms and fewer medication side effects.
