NCT ID NCT06853886

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at genetic changes in natural killer (NK) and B cells—key immune cells—in people with chronic hepatitis B. Researchers want to understand why the immune system fails to clear the virus. About 140 adults with or without hepatitis B will provide blood samples for genetic analysis. No treatments are tested; the goal is to uncover new pathways that could lead to better therapies in the future.
