Fish skin used in groundbreaking gender surgery study

Summary

This study looks at using a special fish skin graft (Kerecis™) during gender-affirming vaginoplasty to help the vagina heal better. About 20 transgender women will have the surgery and be followed for a year. Researchers will check healing, vaginal size, pain, quality of life, and sexual function.
