Can hormone therapy change your lungs? new study investigates

This study looks at whether gender-affirming hormone therapy changes how the lungs work in transgender and gender diverse people. Researchers will measure lung volumes and airflow over time in about 44 participants. The goal is to understand if lung function aligns more with a person's gender identity than with the sex they were assigned at birth.
