First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of two chemotherapy drugs, gemcitabine and docetaxel, can treat high-risk bladder cancer that did not respond to standard BCG therapy. About 174 adults will receive the drugs directly into the bladder weekly for 6 weeks, then monthly for up to 2 years if it works. The goal is to control the cancer and avoid the need for bladder removal surgery.
