New gel stent could ease glaucoma pressure

Summary
This study tests a gel stent device to lower eye pressure in people with glaucoma, a leading cause of blindness. About 130 adults aged 45 and older will get the stent placed either inside or outside the eye. Researchers will check safety and how well it reduces eye pressure over 12 months.
