First seen Feb 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a new drug (toripalimab) to standard chemotherapy before radiation can safely and effectively treat a type of throat cancer caused by the Epstein-Barr virus. About 24 adults with advanced but non-spread cancer will receive three cycles of the drug combo, then radiation. The goal is to see if this approach can lead to a cure without needing lifelong medication.
