Summary
This study aimed to create a simple risk score to predict gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) early in pregnancy. Researchers collected routine hospital data and survey answers from 6,608 pregnant women in China. The goal was to help doctors identify high-risk women sooner, allowing for early intervention to reduce complications and improve health for both mothers and babies.
