Scientists test engineered immune cells to fight tough cancers

NCT ID NCT07256756

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new type of immune cell therapy called GC203 TIL for people with advanced solid tumors that haven't responded to standard treatments. Doctors will collect immune cells from patients' tumors, genetically modify them in the lab, and then infuse them back into the body to attack the cancer. The main goal is to check if this treatment is safe and see if it helps control the cancer in patients who have run out of other options.
