Supercharged immune cells take on tough gynecologic cancers
NCT ID NCT05468307
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This early study tested a new therapy called GC203 TIL in 26 people with advanced gynecologic tumors that had stopped responding to standard treatments. Doctors took immune cells from each patient's tumor, genetically modified them to be more powerful, and infused them back. The main goals were to check safety and see if the treatment could shrink tumors or slow disease progression.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance

What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a new treatment option for advanced gynecologic tumors that have not responded to standard therapies.
What could go wrong
This is a very early, small study (26 people) focused on safety. The treatment may not shrink tumors or could cause serious side effects. Results may not apply to all patients.
