Summary

This study compares two treatments for Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), a rare nerve disorder that can cause muscle weakness and paralysis. The two treatments, immunoadsorption and plasma exchange, both filter the blood to remove harmful antibodies. The study will enroll 20 adults with GBS to see which treatment is safer and works better at improving muscle strength and sensation.
