New injection offers hope for severe asthma sufferers
NCT ID NCT07359846
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a new drug called GB-0895 helps people with severe asthma that isn't controlled by their usual high-dose inhalers. About 786 participants, aged 12 to 80, will receive either GB-0895 or a placebo injection every six months for a year to see if it reduces asthma attacks and improves breathing. The main goal is to see if the new treatment leads to fewer serious flare-ups requiring steroids or hospital visits.
