NCT ID NCT07160387

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study looks at how a procedure called gastrointestinal endoscopy (using a thin, flexible tube with a camera) can help find the reason why some children are not growing or gaining weight as expected. About 50 children aged 6 months to 18 years with failure to thrive and possible gut symptoms will be included. The goal is to see how well endoscopy findings match with tissue samples and other tests to improve diagnosis.
