First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study aims to find out if eosinophilic gastritis, a condition where certain white blood cells build up in the stomach lining, leads to problems with how the stomach empties food. Researchers will use a special oatmeal meal with a tiny amount of radioactive material to track stomach emptying in 30 people with the condition. The goal is to better understand if stomach motility issues are common but underdiagnosed in these patients.
