Radical new attack on advanced stomach cancer: can surgery after powerful drugs buy more time?

NCT ID NCT06468280

Summary

This study is testing if a more aggressive approach can better control advanced stomach cancer that has spread a little. Patients receive a combination of immunotherapy and chemotherapy drugs. Then, some patients will also have surgery or other local treatments to remove tumors, while others continue with drugs alone. The goal is to see if adding these procedures helps keep the cancer in check for a longer period.
