First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study examined 51 adults in Portugal with stomach cancer to see if they had inherited gene changes that might raise cancer risk. Researchers used a multigene panel test to look for these changes. The goal was to understand how common such genetic factors are in this group, not to test a new treatment.
