New study could make stomach cancer diagnosis faster and more accurate
NCT ID NCT04809025
Summary
This study aims to determine if small tissue samples taken during an endoscopy (a camera test) are as reliable for diagnosing stomach cancer as larger samples taken during surgery. Researchers will compare results from both types of samples from 510 patients. The goal is to see if doctors can get the detailed information needed to plan treatment earlier, without waiting for surgery.
