Study tests timing of chemo for stomach cancer
NCT ID NCT05567835
Summary
This study aimed to compare two different timing schedules for chemotherapy in people with stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer. It tested whether giving all chemotherapy before surgery works better than the standard approach of giving some before and some after surgery. The study also looked at tumor DNA in the blood to see if it could predict treatment response. The trial was terminated early after enrolling only 3 participants.
