Summary
This study aims to see if small tissue samples taken during an endoscopy (a tube with a camera) are just as good as larger samples taken during surgery for identifying important features of stomach cancer. Researchers will compare results from both types of samples from 510 patients. The goal is to make accurate cancer testing faster and available before surgery, which could help guide treatment decisions earlier.
