Summary
This study aims to find out if the amount and type of gas a person passes after abdominal surgery can predict their risk of complications. Researchers will track 200 patients, having them record details about their gas and bowel movements before and after their operation. The goal is to see if these everyday signs can help doctors spot problems earlier and improve recovery.
