First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a short program in the emergency department for people with dementia who have fallen. The program includes the patient and their caregiver and aims to reduce future fall-related ER visits. About 700 participants will be split into two groups: one gets the new program, the other gets usual care. The study will compare how many fall-related ER visits each group has within 6 months.
