Flickering lights & sound waves target Alzheimer's risk in down syndrome

NCT ID NCT05196984

Summary

This study is testing whether gentle light and sound stimulation can improve brain activity in adults with Down Syndrome. Researchers want to see if this non-invasive approach, which showed promise in Alzheimer's research, can help regulate brain waves and potentially slow future memory decline. They will measure brain responses and check safety in 60 participants during short sessions.
