MIT tests light & sound therapy for Alzheimer's prevention

NCT ID NCT07496918

Summary

This study is testing whether gentle light and sound stimulation at a specific frequency (40Hz) can change brain activity in healthy adults and people with Alzheimer's disease. Researchers want to see if this non-invasive approach is safe and affects brain connections, thinking skills, and blood markers. Participants visit MIT for one day of testing with brain scans and memory assessments.
