First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether a gamified exercise program can improve heart and lung fitness in hardcore smokers (at least 20 cigarettes a day) who are not very active. Over 12 weeks, 60 participants will follow the program to see if it helps them get fitter and smoke less. The goal is to find a fun way to encourage smokers to exercise and potentially quit.
