NCT ID NCT07408037

First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether fun breathing exercises, like blowing balls or bubbles, can help children aged 3 to 7 feel less anxious before surgery and recover more smoothly afterward. About 80 kids will be split into two groups: one does the breathing games, the other gets standard care. Researchers will measure anxiety and confusion using special scales to see if the games make a difference.
