Turning therapy into a game: app aims to keep kids with muscle disease moving
NCT ID NCT07368400
Summary
This study is testing whether a mobile app that turns physical therapy exercises into a game can help boys with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) stay motivated and stick to their home exercise routines. The goal is to see if this fun, digital approach helps them maintain their physical abilities, like walking and endurance, better than standard home exercises alone. The study will follow 46 boys, aged 6-12, for 6 months to measure their progress.
