Dental students play board game to learn – does it beat the classroom?

NCT ID NCT07479342

First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested whether a board game helps final-year dental students learn about removable braces better than a standard large-group lecture. Fifty students were split into two groups: one played a game, the other attended a lecture. Their knowledge was tested before, during, and after the session, and again one month later to see how much they remembered.
