Video game vs. textbook: which trains nurses better for a bleeding emergency?
NCT ID NCT07229573
Summary
This study is testing whether a special educational video game helps nursing students learn to manage postpartum hemorrhage (dangerous bleeding after childbirth) better than traditional classroom teaching alone. Seventy third-year nursing students will be split into two groups: one will play the game after their regular class, and the other will only have the regular class. Researchers will then compare the students' knowledge, skills, and confidence in handling this serious complication.
