Summary
This study tested a fun, interactive game app called PeroPap designed to prepare children ages 7-10 and their parents for day surgery. The goal was to see if playing the game before the operation could lower children's anxiety, pain, and nausea, and also reduce parents' worry. About 194 families took part, and the app was compared to standard preparation methods.
