First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 10, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This trial is testing a new blood test, called Galleri, that looks for signs of many different cancers. The goal is to see if adding this test to standard NHS screening helps find cancers at an early stage, when treatment is more likely to work. About 140,000 people aged 50-77 in the UK are taking part, and researchers will track their health for three years.
