NCT ID NCT05611632

First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated Apr 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This trial is testing a new blood test called Galleri that looks for signs of many types of cancer. About 140,000 people aged 50-77 in the UK are taking part. The goal is to see if adding this test to standard NHS care helps find cancers at an earlier, more treatable stage. The test is not perfect and cannot find all cancers, but it may help catch some before they spread.
